Independence Day is almost approaching, and as usual, it has sparked a rush of nationalism and patriotism. On August 14 (Sunday), the country will celebrate its 75th Independence Day with enthusiasm and excitement, hosting a series of events to remember its predecessors' and national heroes' fight for a distinct homeland. Flags, badges, caps, and a variety of other customized accessories are available in stores, especially for the 14th of August. It is a national holiday that will begin with a 31-gun salute in the federal capital and a 21-gun salute in the state capitals. At 9:00 a.m., there will be a flag hoisting ceremony in Islamabad, and sirens will be blasted, bringing all traffic to a halt for one minute.


Pakistan's Independence Day History Pakistan gained independence and became a sovereign state after the British Raj ended in 1947. The police in Islamabad and the provincial governments have completed a traffic control strategy for the general public's convenience and safety. To mark the occasion, literary and cultural organizations have scheduled a slew of events. In honor of Independence Day, the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) in Islamabad will hold a number of events. The Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) in Islamabad will also hold seminars to commemorate Independence Day. Islamabad has been painted in green and white to attract young people and children, and there are many Jashan-i-Azaadi vendors selling gowns, flags, bunting, pin badges, toys, and other ornamental products. Since Independence Day has evolved into a celebration throughout the country, a variety of businesses, including restaurants, cab services, online retailers, and even electronics companies, are offering tempting discount deals to add to the happy atmosphere.
